The 7th winner of the 2000 Guineas, held on Tuesday 25th April 1815 over the Rowley Mile course, was Tigris (7/4 fav), a chestnut colt by Quiz out of Persepolis, owned by the 1st Baron Rous. A field of 10 runners contested the race which was worth 1450 Guineas (Equivalent to £111,600 in 2017)
